Share Christ In Mission
Missions and evangelism is important to every Christian because it is important to God.
So how can you get involved?
Love God and Love Others
The impulse that arises in our hearts for missions and evangelism comes first out of loving God, wanting to obey him, and loving other people. Christ has commanded us to go tell others about him, and if we love him we will obey him, and if we love others we will certainly look for ways to tell them about Jesus. Spend time in God's Word, become a disciple of Jesus, and as your love grows your desire to evangelize will grow as well.
Learn About the History of Missions
The history of the Church, to a large extent, is the history of missions. Become interested in that history. Educate yourself. One place to start is with the Missions Library at TBPC. We also have Missions Reading Lists for your use. As you learn about how the saints have devoted themselves and given their lives so that others can learn about Jesus, you will be humbled and inspired.
Learn About TBPC's Commitment to the Great Commission
Our missions program seeks to lead our congregation to fulfill the Lord’s Great Commission: “Go therefore and make disciples of the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey all the commands that I have given you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age”. (Matthew 28-18-20)

Give to Missions
In 2009, TBPC implemented a Missions Fund approach to supporting our missions program. The Missions Fund is a designated fund; annual pledges are made to it at the time of our missions conference in February.
Go on a Missions Trip
This past summer (2012), TBPC sent three short-term missions trips into the field: to India, to North Carolina, and to Mexico. Read more.
